week commencing 17th October 2011

This week saw the preparations and final plans being confirmed for 2 x 50kWp systems to be installed on barn roofs. We look forward to getting the pictures of these on the website in the next few weeks.  3 Domestic roof top systems we also installed.  The whole team took part in a team building exercise on Friday and I am quite confident in saying it was enjoyed by all!

This was a record week on the domestic installs, with 6 installations. 5 completed and commissioned, the 6th scheduled to carry over to next week but still going to plan for commissioning on Monday. We also took delivery of new Blackberry mobiles for the teams, but with all the problems Blackberry have had world wide in the last few days, I think we shall wait until the weekend to switch these on!!!

Well, what with tea, coffee,  cake and bacon and sausage sandwiches, our customers have been extremely accommodating towards the install teams. James was also pleased to report back to the office that he received a kiss from a pleased customer, and they even managed to get some work done!  4 domestic systems installed and commissioned, together with a commercial commissioning.  Fantastic work again teams.

The install teams are all working at great pace – in fact we all are.  From Pete and Ian out on the customer Site Survey’s to the office staff administering quotes, acknowledgements, handover paperwork, and managing the logistics and operations, we are all working extremely hard.  5 systems were installed and commissioned this week with a further commissioning on the commercial side rolling over to next week.  It has been a great week with work, and of course the weather too – Keith said his team enjoyed the ice cream provided by Mrs W, thank you.

Murray Hire is switched on and generating well!  We also ‘kept it in the family’ with an install at Naomi’s parents house – Naomi also got up on the roof to have a look at what the installers get involved with; she wobbled slightly and the boys don’t have to worry about their jobs!  A further domestic install took place together with an install on our own premises.  A busy week all round!

A great week for the boys to get their teeth stuck into some exciting work.  The domestic team started the week with a floor mount system in the local area, and then moved on to Trowbridge to install a 3.91kw system.  The Commercial team commenced a 33kw system on an industrial building in Yate.  Hopefully this will be commissioned within the next 10 days.  We also took delivery of two new vans as business grows – new fleet picture coming soon!

Welcome back to Pat and Keith, you have a busy time ahead.  Four installs to take place this week means Mark & Pat have the task of managing their installs with precision timing.  Keith, Steve and James helped pull out all the stops to complete the installs on time – again you all did it, massive thanks!
